My Amazing Customers

Cultivating long-lasting relationships with our clients

While I work with a variety of clients, not everyone is a good fit. If any of the following statements describe you, I might not be the right adviser for you:

  • If you don’t want to build a long-term, trusting relationship with your adviser.
  • If you’re looking for help with investments, because I don’t provide investment advice.
  • If you want someone who will try to predict the future.
  • If you are unwilling to open up about your entire financial picture.
  • If you want someone to review your investment portfolio, and recommend investments to you.
  • If you are only looking for someone to prepare a simple tax return at a low cost.

Before I can help you tackle your tax or financial issues, I will work with you to develop a tax and financial plan. This process will allow you to:

  • Explore your values and your interests
  • Determine your goals for the future
  • Analyze your cash flow needs
  • Organize your financial accounts
  • Assess your tax situation
  • Develop specific recommendations to help you meet your goals

The above items are ones that I feel a competent adviser must perform in order to understand what you will need. I want the client to understand that I will insist on performing these upfront analytical procedures, so that there are no misunderstandings later on. And I want the client to understand that the time for this work will be included in my fee.

I operate in the belief that there is an ample number of ethical clients, whose peace of mind is of utmost importance to them. These clients are my target market, and I’ve found that they value the unique service that I to offer them.

I am occasionally asked (although very rarely) why I do not include testimonials on my website. I actually did share testimonials at one point, because I found that existing clients were eager to say flattering things about my service. I discontinued presenting testimonials, however, for several reasons.

My clients tend to be older and wealthier. They would probably accommodate my requests for testimonials. But I value their privacy and their confidentiality, so I don’t ask. Secondly, I’ve been in practice for a long time, and in all modesty, I have achieved a level of success that speaks for itself. Please contact me, and we will discuss how I can put together a safe and ethical tax and financial plan for you.
